Papers is a powerful utility designed to help users manage their scientific libraries. Not only is the software capable of searching for articles, but it can also display them, and users have the ability to automatically generate citations based on their chosen style (over 7.000 styles available!).

The library can easily be populated by searching for content with Google Scholar. Relevant results can then be imported into the library.

A very good tool to generate citations
A very interesting feature of this program is that it allows users to automatically generate citations from articles stored in its library.
A separate system tray application, “Papers Citations” handles quotes generation. After a simple library query, results are formatted according to the chosen style. This streamlined experience really saves a lot of time.
Another thing to note is that the program comes with more than 7.000 citation styles! The great thing is that the commonly used Chicago and Harvard standards are also available.
The program is, therefore, well suited for general articles, as well as for highly specific areas of knowledge.
A great aid for anyone that has to manage article libraries
Papers is overall a good program for managing articles. The interface is clean and well suited for the purpose; the integration with Google Scholar works flawlessly and the citation generator is simply marvelous at saving time.
