Instructions on how to obtain the 12-character reset code:

In order to reset the password for these portable msr reader/data collectors we need to get 12-character random reset code.

1. Connect the device to the computer via USB wire.

2. Open the portable reader software.

3. When requested for the password, Insert the random/wrong password 7 times in a row; at the 8th time, the software will generate a random code on 12-character length.

4. Copy the 12- character code and email the code to sales@diij.com with the subject 'RESET PASSCODE' in the subject line.

The resetting of passcode will take a few hours to one day to complete. We will email you the password for the device as soon as we decode them.

Please Allows 24-48 Hours for us to decode the password and send it back to you.
